I started in L1 support at Vianet diagnosing connectivity issues in the field, then joined the NOC team at Silverlining Data Center — 24/7 monitoring, alert triage, escalations, and client-facing reporting. From August 2026 I step into an L2 Assistant System Administrator role, taking on server administration and deeper infrastructure work.

Evenings and weekends go into a small Proxmox lab — self-hosted services, a proper monitoring stack, and a dual-WAN network. It's where I try things out before they matter anywhere else.
Two Proxmox hosts run the lab — one carries a TrueNAS SCALE VM for storage and self-hosted apps, the other an Ubuntu monitoring server, with Windows VMs on both for testing.
Photos on Immich, files on Nextcloud, media through Emby, books in Calibre — with AdGuard Home handling DNS filtering and Homarr as the dashboard that ties it all together.
Telegraf collects metrics into InfluxDB and Grafana draws the dashboards — including SNMP v3 data from the router — while Speedtest Tracker keeps an eye on both ISP lines.
A TP-Link ER605 balances two ISP lines, with WireGuard, Tailscale, and Cloudflare Tunnel for remote access. Nginx Proxy Manager fronts the internal services, alongside CCTV and home-automation devices on the LAN.
